Sundown Lane is a fictitious layout modelled in EM, depicting a Southern Region based cross London line, set in the late 1960s early 1970s before the decline of freight on the line.
Using a variety of locomotives from the period, the yard handles goods for National Carriers Ltd, a private warehouse plus coal and oil.
Along with the local passenger workings, the line is also occasionally used to transfer empty rolling stock between depots and cross London freight keeping the signalman busy.
